Drei Gleichen and Zann’s Records are releasing an Eremit live album called „Vanguardian protect – live in Kaufbeuren 2022“. In fall of 2022 Eremit played a three-show weekender which started in Kaufbeuren, Bavaria, before they played Munich and then Rotterdam, Netherlands.
This first stop of this mini-tour has been captured sonically and the recording now sees the light of day. Being the first ever live album of Eremit being pressed on vinyl, it shows Eremit in their purist form. Just consisting of Moritz “Mo” Fabian and Marco Baecker, the band toured as a two-piece at the time. No driver, no stage hand, not merch personal.. just two musicians and a multitude of amps. Yet besides the purist formation, this show was the first public appearance of guitarist and vocalist Mo playing Saxophone on stage. That special performance is now captured and available on vinyl.
The recording shows the band browsing through material of their by the time unreleased third studio album “Wearer of numerous Forms”. Recorded and mixed by Julian Gruber, later mastered for vinyl by Roland “Role” Wiegner.
The vinyl includes an exclusive art print by Tom “Bloodlvst” Kruijer.
