Teledrome are a synth oriented punk band from Calgary, Canada. They cover alot of ground on this LP as there are a few songs that dip their feet in the Units / Spits style of synth-punk, a couple Gary Numan Elektro-Pop songs, a New Order ish Electronic-Dance dance song and a couple songs that remind me of newer bands like Digital Leather and Lost Sounds. Overall this album is a a dizzying combo of glazed guitars, stern synthesizers and rigid, electronic drumming. There are nods to pop and punk, but the album chiefly draws from both coldwave and synth punk pioneers that layed the foundation for the type of music that they play.
